ABOUT THIS NOTEBOOK

Keep the lessons.

gescco is a public notebook for operations.

What is documented here

General methods for Linux, container platforms, networking, monitoring, backups and releases. Each note begins with a specific problem and provides checkable evidence, next investigation steps and recovery checks. The initial articles are based on public technical documentation and do not describe any real company’s internal systems or incidents.

How to use the notes

Service names, namespaces, domains and IP addresses in commands are examples. Check your operating system, tool versions, cluster context and permissions before use. Recovery and rollback commands that change state include prerequisites. Technical documentation changes over time; check the official references alongside your current environment.

Boundaries for public content

This site contains general principles, public references and examples. It includes no access credentials, internal addresses, business data, customer information or unpublished organizational details. Remove sensitive information from logs, configuration and screenshots before sharing them publicly.

Reading and updates

Notes are organized by topic and searchable in the directory. You can also subscribe to RSS. Code and article sources are kept in the GitHub repository, with changes recorded in version history before publication.

References and corrections

Official references appear at the end of each note for further verification. If you find an issue, suggest a correction on GitHub. Include only examples and explanations from which sensitive information has been removed.
